Interesting summary. I wish I could afford the full report. Eleven percent is a good number. It shows that Latinos are a force online.

A new report shows 11 percent of all e-shopping is done by Hispanics, a percentage that’s only expected to grow, reports MarketingPilgrim.
The report comes from JupiterResearch, which says Hispanic shoppers will spend $12.8 billion on e-commerce purchases this year. By 2011 that’s expected to grow to $21.6 billion, or 13 percent of the total.
The study also showed Hispanic consumers are more likely to run online research before going to a physical store to make the ultimate purchase.
Other findings show Hispanics are more apt to leave online feedback. They also use the same search engines as non-Hispanics, don’t have a problem with using an English-language website and have different methods of preferred payment than other groups.
