Clearing a Path for Development at the U.S.-Mexico Border This is a great example of these two countries working together to improve our border and create jobs. You want to stop illegal immigration, this is one way to reduce it – create jobs in Mexico. The U.S. also gets jobs and it becomes a win win situation.

Mexican Data Show Migration to U.S. in Decline from the New York Times.

My favorite quote from this article is from Steven A. Camarota, “It is not set in stone, so with some mix of enforcement and the economy, fewer will come and more will go home.” Nice. Let’s create the worst recession in a 75years to keep those illegals out. What is the formula for the mix in the economy and enforcement – 60% enforcement and 40% recession? Come on.

Homeownership Losses Are Greatest Among Minorities, Report Finds

Homeownership Losses are greatest among minorities. This is not surprising but still sad that we have inequalities in many levels. Yet the good news is that according to the NY Times article “Even with the decline, the rate for all groups together remains higher than before the boom, with nearly 68 percent of American households owning homes last year, up from 64 percent in 1994.” This would include Latinos. Read the article, it reports both good and bad news for minorities, especially Latinos.
